Welcome to Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop!
Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop is one of the largest quilt shops in Florida with over 5000 square feet of pure quilt shop fun downstairs and a large sewing area upstairs for quilt retreats. It’s a quilter’s dream come true!
Located a short walk from the ocean, the beachside influence is the most obvious with lots of fun, bright, tropical fabrics, kits and quilt samples. Orientals and batiks are also very popular at Byrd’s Nest with nearly 1000 bolts of batiks and over 400 bolts of Oriental fabric on display.
Lots of floor space means more fabric, notions, books, patterns and sewing machines and Byrd’s Nest has it all. There are over 6000 bolts of fabric to choose from, so if you can’t find what you are looking for on our website, there is a good chance we have in the shop. Just call or e-mail us with your quilting needs or desires and we’ll see if we can find it for you.
As an authorized Pfaff / Baby Lock sewing and embroidery machine dealer we also have a dedicated room with separate staff to help you choose and test drive the model that’s perfect for you. There is always someone available to help you get the most from your machine and answer all your questions. And of course we carry the latest software and accessories.
Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop is located at 156 E. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach, directly across the street from Outback Steak House. Hours of operation in the Ormond Beach shop are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; the Palm Coast shop is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Please check for occasional extended hours during holidays or special sales events.
