You’ve taken Jan’s wonderful Basic Machine Quilting class (or you have experience with basic quilting skills), you’ve practiced the techniques you learned and used them successfully in your beautiful projects. Now, you’re ready to take it to the next level in this intermediate machine quilting class! Jan will share her quilting secrets and tips to help you infuse some super cool quilting techniques into your next fabulous project………at the next level! This is an intermediate class.
This is an intermediate level class……don’t panic…..it’s okay to use the “I” word! It’s pretty simple: participants should have adequate basic sewing and quilting skills, know how to stitch an accurate ¼” seam, and be comfortable using a rotary cutter and acrylic templates to cut fabric pieces. See……that was easy!

SUPPLY LIST: Purchase the listed class supplies at Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop and receive a 15% discount on them with your paid class registration! *Sewing machines and accessories not included in discount offer.
Sewing Machine: in good working order, and with which you are familiar and comfortable operating. Remember your foot control and power cord.
Basic Sewing Supplies: threads, bobbins, scissors, pins, machine needles, hand sewing needles, seam ripper, temporary marking tool (chalk, pen, pencil, etc.), rotary cutter and new blade(s), long acrylic ruler, spray starch, ¼” foot, walking foot, and any other supplies that you normally use.
Fabric Sandwiches: No….these are not for lunch! Just bring 2-3 FQ sandwiches…….a sandwich is two FQs with a piece of batting in between them.
